When totaling up your hand if you have a 2 digit number all you have to do is drop the first digit, so a king and a 9 equals a nine. That is really all there is to know about playing baccarat.

The gambling in baccarat is done by the spectators. There are 3 basic bets in baccarat. You can bet on the banker to win, the player to win or a tie.

A win on the player pays a straight up 1:1. A win for the banker pays 1:1 minus the 5% rake and a tie which is very rare pays 8 to 1.
